About Roofing has always pushed us to improve speed and performance of the website. Therefore when Hyva became available, it was a no brainer. The reduction in JavaScript/CSS resources being loaded meant that the website drastically improved speed and performance. In fact, even Google Page Speed scores gave it a massive thumbs up!
After the launch of the new site, search was identified as a big area of improvement. We customised a search extension for a far better search pop up, and improved the search results relevance by (1) setting attributes that should be searchable, and (2) setting the correct attribute weight.
In conjunction with search, we made subtle improvements to the Layered Navigation (Filter), giving more flexibility to the customer in how they can use the filter to narrow down products of interest to them.
